BRIEF DESCRIPTION :- 
                                     GUPTA The reign represents the most glorious chapter of ancient Indian history. and is called the era of perfection in science. This period is famous for its achievements in architecture, science, religion and philosophy. Significantly, the Gupta period was a period of overall prosperity.

Chandragupta was the first great emperor of the Gupta dynasty, whose main country was the beginning of the Gupta era and the expansion of the initial kingdom, he assumed the title of Maharajadhiraj, he assumed the ownership of Samudra Khan adjacent to his kingdom through marriage to princess Kumar Devi. It is said that at the end of the reign of Chandragupta I, the extent of the Gupta Empire extended to Allahabad. After the death of Chandragupta I, his first son Samudragupta ascended the throne.
Samudragupta's tenure is an important chapter of political and cultural consciousness in the pages of Indian history. Samudragupta was also praised by the names of Indra, Lord Vishnu etc.

 It is believed that during this time the Gupta Empire extended from the Himalayas in the north to the mouths of the Krishna and Godavari rivers in the south, from Bulb Afghanistan in the west to the Brahmaputra river in the east. Was conscious, he relied on following Kautilya's Arthashastra with great precision, thereby controlling the monarchy, giving some measure to Samudragupta and social work like education etc.

    A large number of gold coins minted by it demonstrate the versatility of Samudragupta. These coins represent him in various poses , suggestive of powerful king with marshal skills .
